Sewer line had backed up in the basement area and laundry room. They cleaned up the mess with a wet vac, cleared the blockage in the sewerline pipe, ran a camera through the pipe to determine why there was a blockage, gave me a diagnose of the cause for the sewer line backup and a plan to make the necessary repairs. They also replaced cracked and leaking ABS Cleanouts.

My husband discovered the water problem in the laundry room in the early morning. Luckily for us, Cross & Sons had a crew finishing a project in our area and were at our home in about one hour from the time I phoned. Ted immediately started determining what needed to be done while Lloyd began the big job of cleanup with a wetvac. Ted found the problem area while running an auger through the pipe to clear the blockage. He hit a hardspot but was able to clear the blockage and solve the immediate problem. He then ran a camera in the pipe and it appeared there were power lines bored through the sewer line. In order to repair the pipe, the power lines would have to be moved which required coordination with the local power company. Cross & Sons were very helpful with that coordination. The office manager, Kristina, is very efficient and stayed right on top of the project at our home. Ted made a DVD of the camera exploration in the sewerpipe and Kristina was able to put it on a You Tube Link. The local power company was able to view the problem first hand from the You Tube Link. On the coorindated day for the work to be done, Ted & Lloyd sawcut the driveway and dug up the sewer line. The power company shut down the the power, Ted and Lloyd pushed down the wires and repaired the sewer line. The power was turned on again by the power company and finally Ted and Lloyd filled the hole and made it ready for new concrete to be poured.

I had a wash machine drain in one of my rental units could not handle the water flow from the wash machine. As a result the tenant could not wash laundry.

I called Cross & Sons yesterday and they were on time at 08:00 this morning as they said they would be. This rental house is a older home with cast iron pipes and and some are very difficult to access. The plumbing technicians were on time and very persistent. They exhibited great skill in finding the problem was elsewhere in the drain system and resolved the issue. They cleaned up after themselves and were very polite and professional. They had the problem resolved in a couple of hours. My tenant and I are very pleased with the quality of work. Good job, thanks!
